CleverCents⢠is an immersive financial literacy platform that helps children build smart money habits through interactive learning and real world decision making.
Inside the world of Cleverton, children earn, spend, save, invest, and give while seeing how their choices shape the world around them.
Designed to align with national financial literacy standards and real world behaviors, CleverCents bridges the gap between knowledge and action.
Most financial habits begin forming by age 7, yet few financial education experiences are built for how young children actually learn. Existing tools are often designed for older audiences, too abstract, or disconnected from real world behavior.
CleverCents⢠was created to change that.
Through immersive learning experiences and interactive decision making, CleverCents helps children build confidence with earning, spending, saving, investing, and giving, turning financial concepts into everyday habits.

K.D. Salters is the Founder and Creator of CleverCentsâ˘, an immersive financial literacy platform designed to help children build smart money habits through storytelling, gameplay, and real-world decision-making.
After nearly 15 years in leadership at one of the worldâs leading global investment firms, K.D. stepped away from a successful corporate career to pursue a deeply personal mission: helping children build the financial confidence and decision-making skills that can shape their futures. Alongside her corporate career, K.D. spent years mentoring young adults on financial literacy, long-term planning, and wealth-building principles. Through those experiences, she recognized that while financial habits begin forming early in life, few engaging and age-appropriate tools existed to help children build confidence around money.
K.D. earned a bachelorâs degree in Psychology from New York University and a masterâs degree in Human Resources Development with a concentration in Organizational Development from George Washington University. She also attended The Madeira School.
Drawing from her background in leadership, technology, education, and financial empowerment, K.D. founded CleverCents⢠to help raise a wiser, more confident generation through engaging and accessible financial education.
